Nauta Sanxenxo has compensated once again its Carbon Footprint, obtaining the Certificate of Carbon Footprint 100% compensated.
The Carbon Footprint is the main environmental indicator used to evaluate the impact that is made on climate change. It refers to the amount of Greenhouse Gases Emitted directly or indirectly by the organization.
Nauta Sanxenxo has calculated for the second consecutive year what are the emissions produced in its organization. For this reason, the CO2 Emissions Report has been verified with total emissions of 19 T CO2 eq verified in March 2021. One more year Nauta calculates, verifies and compensates its emissions although the previous year the port organization emitted 184 Tons CO2 eq. and this year 19 Tons, so the efforts that have been carried out since the first time the entity verified its emissions have obtained more than satisfactory results, reducing its emissions by around 90%.
