FSC publishes that due to the association of the Russian and Belarusian forestry sector with the armed conflict, no FSC certified material or controlled wood from these countries will be allowed to be traded. FSC has agreed to suspend all trade certificates in Russia and Belarus and to block all controlled wood sourcing from these countries. To continue protecting forests in Russia, FSC will allow holders of forest management certificates, but without permission to trade or sell FSC-certified wood.
